As the standard tools are not sufficient for the design and exact dimensioning of complex toggle levers, Baumüller offers the implementation of application-specific simulation models for this task. The application-specific toggle models can then be linked to the drive and motor model in the ProSimulation software module. This allows the dynamic behaviour of the machine to be accurately mapped and various force and movement profiles to be tested. This makes it possible to optimise the design of the drive technology and test the performance limits without having to set up a real test machine in advance. The advantage: efficient components can be optimally dimensioned and selected during the design phase. In the finished simulation, the machine manufacturer can then simulate and evaluate various individual cycles of its end customers. For example, they can avoid cost-intensive performance reserves, reduce malfunctions during system operation and improve efficiency and energy consumption.
