Key Updates in FLECS 3.5.0-Hedgehog
Floxy Integration with FLECS Core
The FLECS Core now includes its own reverse proxy server (Floxy), enabling multiple editors to run on the same port and allowing multiple instances of an app on a single device. Each app instance now receives a unique hostname, simplifying access and enhancing multi-app workflows.
Enhanced EtherCAT Support for Soft PLCs
This release significantly improves EtherCAT support, providing smoother integration and expanded compatibility for soft PLCs, enhancing performance and reliability in complex EtherCAT-based applications.
Simplified Marketplace Access for Licensed Devices
Devices that are already licensed no longer require a FLECS Marketplace or FLECS user login, streamlining access to the Marketplace and enabling faster management of applications on pre-licensed devices.
Automatic App Release Process Enhancements
The automated app release process has been further optimized:

Major Service Mesh Enhancements
The FLECS Service Mesh has received significant updates aimed at increasing stability and performance. These improvements result in smoother and faster app-to-app communication, ensuring more reliable operations across devices. Please note that only Service Mesh versions 4.0.0 and above are compatible with this release, maximizing the benefits of these enhancements.
